HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team had two players in double figures Friday night and defeated Lander, 71-67, in the season opener for both squads on Friday night. This game was the opener of the PBC/SAC Clash.

Mylea McKenith led the Bearcats with a game-high 27 points, while Victoria Baldwin added 12 points and three rebounds.

Shea Coker led Lincoln Memorial with 14 points, while Megan Pitman contributed 8 rebounds.

The Bearcats shot 34.8 percent from the floor on the evening and made 12-of-18 free throws for 66.7 percent.

Loncoln Memorial shot 47.5 percent, including 12-of-16 free throws for a 75% percentage.

Lander will wrap up the weekend by taking on Carson-Newman tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12.
