MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – An early goal from Amanda Bartholomew and a late goal from Amanda Ferry were too much for the Lander women's soccer team to overcome as Georgia College topped the Bearcats, 2-0, in a Peach Belt Conference match on Wednesday night.

Lander falls to 3-11-1 on the season with a 2-8-1 PBC record. Georgia College moves to 7-7-1, (4-7).

Bartholomew gave the Bobcats a 1-0 lead at the 2:08 mark on her eighth goal of the season. 

Ferry put the game away with a header off a free kick at 77:40, increasing the lead to 2-0. 

Georgia College outshot Lander, 19-15, while the Bearcats led in corner kicks, 11-5. 

Lander goalkeeper Hannah Cowan had five saves, while Ashlee Graham of Georgie College had four.
