GREENWOOD – The Lander volleyball team earned its fourth consecutive victory with a 3-0 win over Converse on Tuesday night in Horne Arena.

Lander downed the Valkyries, 25-9, 25-12, 25-12. The Bearcats improve to 14-4 overall, while Converse falls to 1-17.

Khiani Kelly led the way with 18 kills, while Halle Dotson added 10. Hannah McManus registered 19 digs on the evening. Sophia Perkins and Katie Haake recorded 24 and 11 kills, respectively.

Converse was led by Deanna Unger (12 assists, 11 digs) and Vivica Nogueira (12 digs). 

The Bearcats travel to Jefferson City, Tenn., this weekend for the SAC/Peach Belt Challenge.
