GREENWOOD - Kendall Korte posted a double-double Tuesday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-0 non-conference victory over Converse College in Horne Arena. Game scores were: 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

The Bearcats, who improve to 12-3 overall, will next travel to Columbus State and the University of Montevallo this Friday and Saturday for Peach Belt Conference matches.

Korte paced the Lander attack with 11 kills and 10 digs, while Halle Dotson added 10 kills, Ali Kirk 18 assists, Sophia Perkins 16 assists, and Julia Ferreira-Alves 17 digs. Angermeier and Reyonia Whipple had five and four blocks respectively.

Converse was led by Katie Butler (eight kills, eight digs), Jordon Robertson (25 assists), Krislyn Moore (15 digs), and Journee English (13 digs).
