GREENWOOD – The No. 29-ranked Lander women's tennis team posted the season's third shutout Thursday afternoon as the Lady Bearcats downed North Greenville, 9-0, in a non-conference match at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

Lander improves to 7-7, while North Greenville slips to 8-11.

Camille Duhan (NG), 6-2, 6-2; No. 4 Ivanka Mocic (L) def. Christina Kiessling (NG), 6-1, 6-1; No. 5 Alyssa Savill (L) def. Ann Hayden Huxford (NG), 6-3, 6-1; and No. 6 Lori Flick (L) def. Hartley Smith (NG), 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles, No. 1 Courbis/Renata Mello (L) def. Beacham/Vargas (NG), 8-3; No. 2 Sancelme/Savill (L) def. Duhan/Kiessling (NG), 8-3; and No. 3 Maggie Elliott/Mocic (L) def. Huxford/Smith (NG), 8-2.
