GREENWOOD - The No. 28-ranked Flagler women's tennis team swept the doubles matches and claimed three singles to defeat No. 35 Lander, 6-3, Saturday in a Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Tennis Complex.

Flagler improves to 8-4 overall and 6-1 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 5-2, 3-2.

In singles, No. 1 Barbora Sebkova (F) def. Marion Courbis (L) 6-4, 6-2; No. 2 Elise Sancelme (L) def. Esther Santiago (F) 6-2, 6-1; No. 3 Mary Jo Nanti (F) def. Gabrielle Woodson (L) 6-4, 6-4; No. 4 Kelly Stewart (F) def. Ivanka Mocic (L) 6-4, 6-4; No. 5 Anni Poikola (L) def. Thaisa Pereira (F) 6-3, 6-7 (2-6), 1-0 (10-3); and No. 6 Alyssa Savill (L) def. Krista Ingrilli (F) 7-5, 6-4.

In doubles, No. 1 Mary Jo Nanti/Thaisa Pereira (F) def. Marion Courbis/Ivanka Mocic (L) 8-5; No. 2 Esther Santiago/Hanna Goettsching (F) def. Elise Sancelme/Gabrielle Woodson (L) 8-4; and No. 3 Barbora Sebkova/Kelly Stewart (F) def. Alyssa Savill/Renata Mello (L) 8-1.
