AIKEN, S.C. - Lander's Ali Kirk posted a double-double Wednesday night as the Bearcats' volleyball team dropped a Peach Belt Conference match against USC Aiken, 3-0, at the Convocation Center. Game scores were: 26-24, 25-22, 25-22.

USCA improves to 18-3 overall and 7-3 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 18-8, 6-4.

Kirk had 14 assists and 11 digs, while Khiani Kelly added eight kills, Tarryn Angermeier seven kills, Mallory Taylor 12 digs, Julia Ferreira-Alves 11 digs and Sophia Perkins 11 digs. Reyonia Whipple led the team in blocks with six and Angermeier added five.

The Pacers were led by Taylor Stratton (13 kills), Emily Teelon (23 assists), Lauren Howard (18 assists, 10 digs), Katie Toman (26 digs), and Shawn Hotson (15 digs). 

This Friday and Saturday Lander will travel to Augusta University and Georgia College respectively in PBC matches.
