ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The No. 21-ranked Lander men's soccer team suffered its second loss of the season Saturday when the Flagler Saints held off the Bearcats, 1-0, in a Peach Belt Conference game.

Flagler improves to 5-4-1 overall and 5-2 in the PBC, while the Bearcats move to 10-2, 4-2.

Pedro Silva scored the lone goal of the game at 25:14 after he fired in an unassisted shot to the left side.

Lander outshot the Saints, 16-12, but Flagler led in corner kicks, 8-5.

Flagler goalkeeper Lex Craggs recorded six saves on the evening, while LU's Barrett Nielsen had four.

The Bearcats will next host Young Harris College at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21 at Van Taylor Stadium.
