AIKEN - The No. 18 Lander women's basketball team won its 14th straight game Wednesday night when the Lady Bearcats defeated USC Aiken, 77-58, in a Peach Belt Conference game at The Convocation Center.

Lander improves to 14-2 overall and 7-0 in the PBC, while USCA falls to 9-7, 5-2.

Bre Crum posted a double-double with a game-high 29 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Lady Bearcat attack. She connected on 10-of-14 field goals and 9-of-11 free throws. Ty'hesha Reynolds added 14 points and six steals, and Aarika Judge 10 points an seven steals.

Mackenzie Reese paced USCA with a 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Stephanie Ball had 10 points, and Emry Tsitouris eight points and 17 rebounds.

Lander, which led 36-21 at halftime, connected on 23-of-65 field goals (35.4 percent), including 4-of-24 threes (16.7 percent), and 27-of-36 free throws (75 percent).

The Pacers made 18-of-66 floor shots (27.3 percent), including 7-of-24 from the three-point line (29.2 percent), and 15-of-24 from the foul line (62.5 percent).

The Lady Bearcats quickly built up an 11-2 lead after just five and a half minutes of play and stretched the margin to 24-11 on a Judge three pointer at 7:08.

Crum's jumper with 43 seconds remaining gave the Bearcats their biggest lead of the first half at 36-19. Crum also gave Lander its largest lead of the second half at 25 points when her layup made it 48-23.

Lander next travels to the University of Montevallo Saturday for a PBC contest at 2:30 p.m.
