GREENWOOD - Tarryn Angermeier and Kendall Korte had 12 kills each, while Jessica Register added a double-double Friday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Georgia College. Game scores were: 25-15, 25-18, 25-23.

Lander improves to 11-1 overall and 2-1 in the PBC, while Georgia College drops to 5-6, 0-4.

Register posted 39 assists and 18 digs for the Bearcats, while Kaitlyn Harrison and Sydney Tracy added 11 and nine kills respectively, and Julia Ferriera-Alves 15 digs.

Georgia College was led by Maggie Roper (nine kills), Mollie Michel (25 assists), Ella Anastasiades (18 digs) and Lindsay Holmes (13 digs).

Lander will next host Limestone College in a non-conference game at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30.
