MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.- Alexis Rogers and Casey Black scored one goal each Wednesday night to lead the Lander women's soccer team to a 2-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Georgia College.

Lander improves to 4-0-1 on the season with a 2-0 PBC record. Georgia College falls to 2-4-1 on the season with a 0-2 PBC record.

Rogers scored the first goal off a free kick at the 42:21 mark in the first half.

Black would score her second goal on the season at the 61:22 mark in the second half. The goal came off an unassisted shot inside the box.

Lander outshot Georgia College, 13-6, with five shots on goal. Each team attempted three corner kicks.

Lander goalkeeper Katie Lyle had four saves, while Annie Stephens of Georgie College had three.
