TIGERVILLE - The No. 12-ranked Lander men's soccer team got goals from three different players Wednesday night to lead the Bearcats to a 3-0 non-conference victory over North Greenville.

Lander remains unbeaten at 2-0, while the Crusaders drop to 0-2.

After a scoreless first half, Lander's Eoin O Donovan netted what proved to be the winning goal at 49:50.

The Bearcats stretched the lead to 2-0 when Steven Gonzalez nailed a penalty kick at 66:12. Elias Hatungimana, who scored the winning goal against Lenoir-Rhyne last Saturday night, came through for the Bearcats final goal at 72:02.

Lander goalkeeper Barrett Nielsen earned the victory in goal with four saves, while NGU's DJ Baker had three.

The Bearcats outshot the Crusaders, 9-7, and led in corner kicks, 4-2.

Lander next plays at Lees-McRae at 3 p.m., Saturday, in a non-conference game.
