COLUMBIA - The No. 40-ranked Lander women's tennis team blanked Columbia College, 9-0, Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match.

Lander improves to 14-4 overall, while Columbia College sinks to 3-9. It was the Lady Bearcats fourth shutout of the season.

Ashley Latham (C) 6-0, 6-2; No. 4 Cayce Bradley (L) def. Mara Reiss (C) 6-1, 6-0; No. 5 Renata Mello (L) def. Lydia Royals (C) 6-4, 6-2; and No. 6 Lori Flick (L) def. Rhiannon Crump (C) 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles, No. 1 Carolina Lainez/Cayce Bradley (L) def. Sofija Zarev/Raven Fair (C) 8-0; No. 2 Marion Courbis/Renata Mello (L) def. Emily Rhodes/Mara Reiss (C) 8-0; and No. 3 Tiffany Vanhpraseuth/Alyssa Savill (L) def. Lydia Royals/Ashley Latham (C) 8-3.
