FLORENCE, S.C. - Francis Marion's Michael Eibl found the back of the net in the 88th minute Saturday night to give the Patriots men's soccer team a 1-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander in the regular-season finale for both teams.

The Patriots improve to 11-3-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 6-6-2, 2-5-2.

Eible scored from inside the box at 88:03 off a double assist from Shahin Hemat and Peter Beniseau.

Bearcat goalkeeper Barrett Nielsen totaled six saves, while FMU's Mike Warn had two.

Francis Marion outshot Lander, 10-6, but the Bearcats led in corner kicks, 4-2.

The brackets for this week's Peach Belt Conference tournament will be announced later tonight.
