FLORENCE, S.C. - Sydney Tracy and Kendall Korte had 14 kills each Tuesday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over Francis Marion at the Smith University Center. Game scores were: 26-24, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Lander, which completes the regular-season sweep against Francis Marion, improves to 19-6 overall and 7-6 in the PBC, while Francis Marion drops to 8-16, 4-10.

Tracy led the Bearcats with a .355 hitting percentage, while Tarryn Angermeier added 10 kills, Jessica Register a double-double with 42 assists and 16 digs, and Julia Ferreira-Alves 28 digs.

FMU was paced by Alexzandra Reed (25 kills, 14 digs), Caroline Boone (19 kills), Sloane Shank (57 assists, 15 digs), and Jessica Amador (30 digs).

The Bearcats will next host Columbus State in a PBC match at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 31, in Horne Arena.
