GREENWOOD - Jessica Register and Kendall Korte each had double-doubles Friday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Francis Marion at Horne Arena. Games scores were: 25-14, 28-26, 25-23.

Lander improves to 15-5 overall and 4-5 in the PBC, while FMU drops to 6-13, 3-7.

Register had 38 assists and 16 digs for the Bearcats, while Korte tallied 14 kills and 10 digs. Sydney Tracy and Kaitlyn Harrison had 12 kills each, Julia Ferreira-Alves 13 digs, and Kate Schwartz five block assists and five kills.

FMU was led by Alexzandra Reed (11 kills, 13 digs), Sloane Shank (35 assists, 12 digs), and Jessica Amador 21 digs.

The Bearcats will next host PBC rival UNC Pembroke at 1 p.m., Saturday, in Horne Arena.
