Box Score AIKEN - The USC Aiken men's soccer team scored two second-half goals Wednesday night to claim a 3-2 come-from-behind victory against Lander in a Peach Belt Conference game at the Pacer Pit.
The Pacers improve to 6-2-1 overall and 1-1 in the PBC, while Lander slips to 4-2-1, 0-1-1.
USCA took a 1-0 lead at 30:15 when Jordan Misiri found the back of the net on an assist from Rodrigo Goncalves.
Lander bounced back to take a 2-1 advantage when Eoin O Donovan and Elias Hatungimana scored unassisted goals late in the first half. O Donovan's came at 40:09 and Hatungimana's at 44:14.
The Pacers retaliated to tie the game at 2-all when Ryan Dwyer punched one in at 54:29 off an assist from Andre Simmond, then took the lead for good after Noel Mais converted a pass from Gabriel Locher at 66:47.
USCA outshot Lander, 8-5, and led in corner kicks, 6-5.
Both Lander goalkeeper Barrett Nielsen and USCA's Joshua Poissant had two saves.
Lander will travel to the Univeristy of Montevallo this Saturday for a 4:30 p.m. Peach Belt Conference game.
