GREENWOOD – Lander's Sarah Piechocki drilled in a penalty kick early in the second overtime Saturday afternoon to lead the Lady Bearcats to a 1-0 victory over Coker College in a non-conference game at the Jeff May Complex.

Lander improves to 2-0 overall, while Coker sinks to 0-2.

The Lady Bearcats outshot the Lady Cobras, 22-6, and led in corner kicks, 9-1.

Lander goalkeeper Katie Lyle had five saves, while Coker's Lizz Morris tallied 10.

The Lady Bearcats will host Anderson University at 7 p.m., Wednesday, in a non-conference game.
