ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Lander women's tennis team swept the doubles competition and took three of six singles to upset No. 41 Flagler College, 6-3, Saturday afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference match.

Lander improves to 5-3 overall and 3-3 in the PBC, while Flagler drops to 1-9, 1-3.

In singles, No. 1 Barbora Sebkova (F) def. Carolina Lainez (L) 6-2, 6-1; No. 2 Esther Santiago (F) def. Marion Courbis (L) 6-1, 6-0; No. 3 Ainhoa Rico Martin (L) def. Hanna Goettsching (F) 6-3, 6-3; No. 4 Thaisa Pereira (F) def. Aurelia Ruffat (L) 6-3, 6-2; No. 5 . Cayce Bradley (L) def. Krista Ingrilli (F) 6-4, 6-3; and No. 6 Tiffany Vanhpraseuth (L) def. Anika Cohen (F) 7-5, 5-7, 10-6.

In doubles, No. 1 Aurelia Ruffat/Tiffany Vanhpraseuth (L) def. Hanna Goettsching/Thaisa Pereira (F) 8-4; No. 2 Carolina Lainez/Cayce Bradley (L) def. Esther Santiago/Barbora Sebkova (F) 8-4; and No. 3 Ainhoa Rico Martin/Renata Mello (L) def. Anika Cohen/Krista Ingrilli (F) 8-3.
