COLUMBUS, Ga. – The No. 6 Columbus State women's tennis team defeated Lander, 8-0, Saturday afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference contest at the Mary V. Blackmon Center.

Columbus improves to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 3-3, 1-3.

In singles, No. 1 Paola Cigui (CSU) def. Carolina Lainez (L) 6-3, 6-1; No. 2 Carolin Weikard (CSU) def. Ainhoa Rico Martin (L) 6-3, 6-0; No. 3 Olivera Jokic (CSU) def. Aurelia Ruffat (L) 6-3, 6-2; No. 4 Laura Chapman (CSUW) def. Cayce Bradley (LUW) 6-3, 6-4; No. 5 Andrea Redrado (CSU) def. Lori Flick (L) 6-1, 6-0 ; and No. 6 Tiffany Vanhpraseuth (LUW) vs. Renata Paiva (CSUW) no result.
