GAFFNEY - The No. 8-ranked Lander men's tennis team remained unbeaten Friday afternoon when the Bearcats defeated Limestone College, 8-1, in a non-conference match at the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center.

Lander improves to 3-0, while Limestone drops to 2-1.

In singles, No. 1 Paul-Henri Arrigoni (LU) def. Carlos Yanes (LC), 6-2, 6-1; No. 2 Vincent Verpeaux (LU) def. Rafael Ferla (LC), 6-3, 6-1; No. 3 Samuel Poutignat (LU) def. Lucas Guinski (LC), 6-1, 6-0; No. 4 Adam Jonsson (LU) def. Antoine Le Dore (LC), 6-2, 6-2; No. 5 Diego Zegarra (LU) def. Benji Lascari Diaz (LC), 6-0, 7-5; and No. 6 Oscar Axelsson (LU) def. Daniel Lopez (LC), 6-0, 6-2.

In doubles, No. 1 Yanes/Ferla (LC) def. Jonsson/August Iwdal; No. 2 Arrigoni/Verpeaux (LU) def. Guinski/Le Dore (LC), 8-2; and No. 3 Axelsson/Pouignat (LU) def. Diaz/Lopez (LC), 8-2.
