MORROW, Ga. – Ty'hesha Reynolds scored 11 points and Jamelia James added 10 Friday afternoon in the Lander women's basketball team's 75-54 non-conference loss to Lenoir-Rhyne in the Heritage Bank Holiday Classic hosted by Clayton State University.

Lenoir-Rhyne improves to 6-3 overall, while Lander moves to 5-5.

Portia McCray led Lander with eight rebounds, while Ashleigh Zandi and Reynolds each grabbed seven.

Jenni Gust led Lenoir-Rhyne with 15 points, while Jazmine Charles and Kierra Phillips had 13 each. Alexis Katt grabbed nine rebounds for the Bears, while Jordan Hiatt, Krystal Patton, Charles and Kierra each had seven.

Lander connected on 18-of-67 field goals (27 percent), 6-of-27 threes (22 percent) and 12-of-22 free throws (55 percent).

L-R was 25-of-58 from the floor (43 percent), 1-of-4 from the three-point line (25 percent) and 24-of-36 from the foul line (67 percent).

The Bears outrebounded Lander, 53-39.
