Box Score

GREENWOOD – Kyle Stuller's first goal of the year was a doozy Tuesday night as he fired in the game-winning score to lead the seventh-seeded University of Montevallo men's soccer team to a 2-1 overtime victory against second-seeded Lander in the first round of the Peach Belt Conference tournament at the Jeff May Complex.

Stuller's shot was from 20 yards out, hit the crossbar, then rebounded off the ground and into the goal at 95:09.

Lander took a 1-0 lead at 18:13 when Kevin Durand scored off an assist from Jose Cubillan. It was Durand's ninth goal of the season.

The Falcons knotted the game at 1-all after Ricky Davey netted an unassisted shot from in front of the goal.

Lander outshot Montevallo, 12-11, while both teams had four corner kicks.

Montevallo goalkeeper Brendan Ledgeway had five saves, while Lander's Barrett Nielsen grabbed one.
