GREENWOOD – Seniors Hannah Dederick, Kiki Hennessey and Katelyn Kraft did their part on "Senior Day" Saturday to help the Lander volleyball team defeat Georgia College, 3-0, in a Peach Belt Conference game at Horne Arena. Game scores were: 25-15, 25-17, 25-15.

Lander improves to 17-8 overall and 7-7 in the PBC, while Georgia College sinks to 4-21, 1-14.

Dederick had 17 kills, Kraft 13 digs and Hennessey 12 digs for the Bearcats. Setter Jessica Register added 42 assists and nine digs, while Julia Ferreira-Alves had 15 digs and Kendall Korte 11 digs.

Georgia College was led by Micayla Patterson (20 digs), Caroline Ham (18 digs), and Ella Anastasiades (16 digs).

Lander, which completes its home schedule, will next travel to Columbus State for a 6 p.m. PBC contest on Nov. 8
