GREENWOOD – Montevallo's Manyi Ati posted a double-double with 18 kills and 18 digs Friday night to lead the Falcons volleyball team to a 3-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander at Horne Arena. Game scores were: 25-20, 22-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Montevallo improves to 11-3 overall and 4-2 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 12-4, 3-3.

Lander's Jessica Register also had a double-double as she led Lander with 52 assists and 16 digs. Tarryn Angermeier had a game-high 21 kills, while Kendall Korte added 15 and Hannah Dederick 13. Kiki Hennessey led the Bearcats with 26 digs, Sarah Bradley had 21 and Julia Ferreira-Alves 14. Angermeier also had four block assists.

In addition to Ati, Montevallo was led by Michelle Carle (15 kills), Rebekah Phelps (15 kills), Briana Marquez (55 assists, 10 digs), and Kaleigh Harvey (26 digs).

Lander will next host Columbus State at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, in a PBC contest in Horne Arena.
