DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Casey Black scored the lone goal of the game Wednesday evening to lead the Lander women's soccer team to a 1-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over North Georgia.

Lander improves to 12-3 overall and 8-2 in the PBC, while North Georgia drops to 11-4-1, 6-3-1.

Black's goal came at 60:20 on a cross from Kimberly Kesler. It was Black's seventh goal of the season.

North Georgia outshot Lander, 20-13, and both teams had seven corner kicks.

Both goalkeepers, Lander's Katie Lyle and North Georgia's Mallory Sayre, had seven saves.

Lander next travels to Armstrong Atlantic for a PBC contest at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2.
