Box Score GREENWOOD – Kimberly Kesler netted two goals Wednesday afternoon to lead the Lander women's soccer team to a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Young Harris at the Jeff May Complex.
Lander, which has eight shutouts this season, improves to 11-2 overall and 7-1 in the PBC, while Young Harris drops to 4-10, 1-7.
Kesler scored the first of her goals in front of the goal off an assist from Taylor Piorkowski at 2:08.
Nina Morales stretched the Lander lead to 2-0 at 47:17 when she fired in an unassisted shot from 30 yards.
Kesler's second goal, her eighth of the season, was assisted by Morales and came from five yards out at 52:18.
Lander outshot the Mountain Lions, 31-2, and led in corner kicks, 9-0.
Young Harris goalkeeper Taylor Erickson had nine saves.
Lander will next host Columbus State at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, in a PBC contest.
