SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Lander women's golf team is in 12th place of 18 teams Monday after the first round of the two-day, two-round Saint Leo Invitational held at the par-72, 6,132-yard South Course at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. The final round will be played Tuesday.
Barry University leads the team competition with a low 296 and is followed by: 2. Flagler 298, 3. Florida Tech 300, 4. Lynn 302, 5. Florida Southern 307, 6. West Florida 308, 7. Armstrong Atlantic and Northwood 312, 9. Saint Leo 315, 10. West Georgia 323, 11. Flordia Southern B 327, 12. Lander 330, 13. Mount Olive 333, 14. Barton 334, 15. Tampa and North Georgia 342, 17. Webber International 347, and 18. Eckerd 384.
Individually for Lander, Mariana Martins is tied for 24th place at 77, Valentina Bueno is tied for 33rd at 79, Michelle Reyes is tied for 52nd at 82, and Rachel Urmemovich is 83rd with 92.
