GREENWOOD - Kiki Hennessey and Jessica Register both posted double doubles Wednesday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-0 non-conference victory over Converse College at Horne Arena. Lander won by scores of 25-20, 25-15, 28-26.

Lander evens its record at 3-3, while the Valkyries drop to 0-5.

Hennessey totaled 11 kills and 16 digs, while Register had 36 assists and 11 digs for the Bearcats. Tarryn Angermeier added 13 kills, Sarah Bradley 12 digs, and Kaitlyn Harrison nine kills and 14 digs.

Converse was led by Kandance Griffin (17 assists and 10 digs), Lauren Ziegler (eight kills), and Aubrey Crosby (19 digs).

The Bearcats will next host North Greenville College at 7 p.m., Sept. 11 in a non-conference game.
