PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Lander's Mariana Martins shot a 7-over-par 149 and placed second overall to lead the first-year Lady Bearcat program to a fourth-place finish at the Peach Belt Conference Women's Golf Tournament, which was hosted by Columbus State Monday and Tuesday at the par 71 Lake View Golf Course.

Martins opened the tournament with a 74 on Monday and followed with a 75 today. Teammates Ashley Shinn (78-80) and Dea Mahendra (77-81) tied for 10th at 158, Rachel Uremovich tied for 20th at 163 (83-80), and Valentina Bueno finished 30th with 171 (86-85). The top four individual scores count in the team score.

Armstrong Atlantic won the team championship with a low 615 and was followed by: 2. Flagler and UNC Pembroke 626, 4. Lander 628, 5. Columbus State 639, 6. Montevallo 646, and 7. North Georgia 660.
