AIKEN - The Lander volleyball team evened its record at 14-14 overall Wednesday night when the Bearcats dropped a Peach Belt Conference match to USC Aiken, 3-0, in the Convocation Center. Game scores were 25-14, 25-19, 25-22.

USCA improves to 18-10 overall and 7-5 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 6-6 in the PBC.

Hannah Dederick led Lander with eight kills, while Tarryn Angermeier added six kills, Jessica Register 20 assists, Katelyn Kraft 16 digs and Madison Kubal 13 digs.

USCA was led by Danika Maggar (12 kills), Shannon Byers (11 kills, 12 digs), Ashley Farwell (17 assists), Sheila Walsh (17 assists, 10 digs), and Samantha Lukralle (26 digs).

Lander will close out the regular season this weekend when it hosts Armstrong Atlantic at 7 p.m., Friday, and Flagler at 12 p.m., Saturday. Both games will be played in Horne Arena.
