MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Lander volleyball team improved to 3-0 in the Peach Belt Conference Friday night when the Bearcats defeated the University of Montevallo, 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Lander improves to 7-7 overall and 3-0 in the PBC, while Montevallo slips to 7-10, 1-3.

Hannah Dederick and Tarryn Angermeier tallied 13 and 11 kills respectively, while Jessica Register had 27 assists, and Madison Kubal 19 digs.

For Montevallo, Michelle Walker had 14 kills, Betsy Stevenson 25 assists, and Jessica Falletta and Kaleigh Harvey 12 and 11 digs respectively.

Lander will play at Augusta State University at 3 p.m. Saturday in another PBC contest.
