GREENWOOD - Sarah Piechocki and Casey Black scored one goal each Saturday afternoon to lead the Lander women's soccer team to a 2-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Flagler College at the Jeff May Complex.

Lander improves to 8-1-3 overall and 6-0-1 in the PBC, while Flagler drops to 7-4-3, 2-4-2.

The Lady Bearcats took a 1-0 lead at 21:57 when Piechocki found the back of the net on an assist from Lara Middlebrook.

Lander stretched the margin to 2-0 at 83:38 after Black scored the game's final goal on an unassisted shot.

The Lady Bearcats outshot Flagler, 11-2, and both teams had five corner kicks.

Flagler goalkeeper Cristina Coca grabbed three saves, while Lander's Kelsey Blair had one.
