GREENWOOD - The No. 16-ranked Lander men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie against Flagler College Saturday afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference game at the Jeff May Complex.

Lander moves to 10-1-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the PBC, while the Saints are 8-2-2, 6-1-1.

Flagler took a 1-0 lead at 61:51 when Zach Shanahan netted his eighth goal of the season on a penalty kick.

The Bearcats forced the tie at 67:57 after Brett Jankouskas netted an unassisted score from in front of the goal. It was Jankouskas' second goal of the season.

Both teams had 16 shots, while Flagler edged the Bearcats, 5-4, in corner kicks.

Lander goalkeeper Barrett Nielsen totaled nine saves, while Flagler's Camp Bissel had seven.
