Box Score GREENWOOD – Tarryn Angermeier totaled 22 kills Wednesday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-2 Peach Belt Conference victory over USC Aiken in Horne Arena. Game scores were: 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 24-26, 15-11.
Lander, which snapped USCA's 11-game winning streak, improves to 8-8 overall and 4-1 in the PBC, while the Pacers drop to 15-6, 4-1.
Angermeier, who had a .206 hitting average, also had two block assists, while Kaitlyn Harrison and Jessica Register added double-doubles. Harrison recorded 12 kills and 15 digs, while Register had 44 kills and 20 digs. Hannah Dederick added 10 kills and two block assists, Madison Kubal 35 digs and Katelyn Kraft 13 digs.
USCA was led by Ashley Diedrich (14 kills, 10 digs), Alyssa Johnson (11 kills), Leah Rodgers (10 kills), Ashley Farwell (27 assists), Sheila Walsh (20 assists), Samantha Lukralle (27 digs), Shannon Byers (25 digs), and Claire Patten (12 digs).
