CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Magi Nottingham posted a double-double Wednesday night as the Lander volleyball team fell to Queens University, 3-1, in a non-conference contest. Queens won, 25-16, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18.

Lander slips to 2-3 overall on the season.

Nottingham led the Bearcat attack with 12 kills and 12 digs, while Jessica Register tallied 28 assists. Madison Kubal had a team-high 27 digs, while Rebekah Davis added 25, Katelyn Kraft 24 and Register 15.

Alexa Sparrell led Queens with nine kills, while Avery Moore and Taylor Riley had 17 and 12 assists respectively. Jocelyn Kellinger led the Royals in digs with 31, Brittney Barren had 15 and Erin Mooney 13.
