SAVANNAH, Ga. - Morgan Mitchell found the back of the net at the 107th minute mark of the second overtime Saturday afternoon on an assist from Casey Dixon to lead the Armstrong Atlantic women's soccer team to a 3-2 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander.

Armstrong improves to 2-1-0 overall and 1-0 in the PBC, while the Lady Bearcats suffered their first loss of the season at 3-1 and 0-1 in the PBC.

Lander took a 1-0 advantage at 14:03 when Kendall Couch nailed a goal on an assist from Christina Barbour.

Armstrong tied the Lady Bearcats at 1-1 on Mitchell's score at 20:39, assisted by Andye Dawson, then took the lead at 43:45 when Jordan Otto found the back of the net on an unassisted goal.

The Lady Bearcats forced the overtime when Barbour netted a goal at 65:45 on an assist from Sam Vickers.

Armstrong outshot Lander, 24-15, and led in corner kicks, 8-5.

Lander goalkeeper Chelsea Beetch tallied eight saves, while Armstrong's Meghan Mayville had six.
