GREENWOOD - The No. 1 ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University women's tennis team defeated Lander, 9-0, Saturday afternoon in  Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Courts.

AASU remained unbeaten at 19-0 overall and 10-0 in the PBC, while Lander slips to 13-7, 5-6.

In singles, No. 1 Aleksndra Filipovski (A) def. Aurelia Ruffat (L), 7-5, 6-0; No. 2 Barbora Krtickova (A) def. Brandi Cordell (L), 6-1, 6-1; No. 3 Tina Ronel (A) def. Eliza Adusumilli (L), 6-2, 6-2; No. 4 Kathleen Henry (A) def. Nicola James (L), 6-4, 6-0; No. 5 Joanna Szymczyk (A) def. Cayce Bradley (L), 6-0, 6-0; and No. 6 Jessica Gardefjord (A) def. Melanise Newbold (L), 6-3, 6-0.

In doubles, No. 1 Filipovski/Krtickova (A) def. Ruffat/Newbold (L), 8-1; No. 2 Ronel/Alida Muller-Wehlau (A) def. Adusumilli/James (L), 8-3; and Henry/Szymczyk (A) def. Cordell/Bradley (L), 8-2.
