DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Still undefeated, the No. 11 Lander men's tennis team won all but one doubles match en route to an 8-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over North Georgia Tuesday afternoon at the Yahoola Creek Tennis Complex.
Lander improves to 15-0 overall and 6-0 in the PBC, while North Georgia moves to 6-7, 0-6.
In singles, No. 1 Paul-Henri Arrigoni (L) def. Felipe Friedrich (NG), 6-1, 6-1; No. 2 Henrik Willers (L) def. Mateus Camasmie (NG), 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-3; No. 3 Oscar Perman (L) def. Giovani Santos (NG), 6-0, 6-2; No. 4 Carlos Marques (L) def. Adrien Saulais (NG), 6-2, 6-1; No. 5 Oscar Axelsson (L) def. Brandon Sloan (NG), 6-3, 6-2; and No. 6 Christopher Mattsson (L) def. Ernesto Farina (NG), 5-7, 6-2, 10-6.
In doubles, No. 1 Friedrich/Camasmie (NG) def. Arrigoni/Marques (L), 8-4; No. 2 Mattsson/Perman (L) def. Sloan/Saulais (NG), 9-7; and No. 3 Willers/Axelsson (L) def. Santos/Farinas (NG), 8-4.
