GREENWOOD – The Lander women's tennis team won all but the No. 2 singles match Sunday afternoon as the Lady Bearcats claimed an 8-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over USC Aiken at The Joe Cabri Courts.

Lander improves to 11-5 overall and 4-4 in the PBC, while USCA drops to 7-7, 1-5.

Andrea Cediel (USCA), 6-4, 7-6; No. 4 Nicola James (L) def. Franziska Regel (USCA), 6-3, 6-3; No. 5 Cayce Bradley (L) def. Caitlyn Lawrence (USCA), 6-1, 6-1; and No. 6 Melanise Newbold (L) def. Melanie Schnieder (USCA), 3-6, 7-6, 10-8.

In doubles, No. 1 Ruffat/Bradley (L) def. Humphrey/Simon (USCA), 8-4; No. 2 Adusumilli/James (L) def. Cediel/Franziska (USCA), 8-3; and No. 3 Cordell/Newbold (L) def. Lawrence/Schnieder (USCA), 9-7.
