DUE WEST - The Lander women's tennis team suffered its third straight loss Thursday afternoon when the Lady Bearcats dropped a 6-3 non-conference match to Erskine College.

Erskine improves to 11-2 overall, while Lander moves to 10-5.

Abby O'Reilly (E), def. Nicola James (L), 0-6, 6-1, 7-5; No. 5 Victoria Stephens (E) def. Cayce Bradley (L), 6-3, 6-3; and No. 6 Nikki Miller (E) def. Melanise Newbold (L), 6-4, 2-6, 7-5.

In doubles, No. 1 Rheault/Bignon (E) def. Bradley/Ruffat (L), 8-2; No. 2 James/Adusumilli (L) def. Hallman/Stephens (E), 8-6; and No. 3 O'Reilly/Miller (E) def. Cordell/Newbold (L), 8-4.
