GREENWOOD - The No. 9 Clayton State women's tennis team won two of three doubles matches and five of six singles en route to a 7-2 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander Saturday afternoon at The Joe Cabri Courts.
Clayton State improves to 2-1 overall and 2-1 in the PBC, while Lander slips to 8-2, 1-2.
In singles, No. 1 Viktoriya Semyrodenko (C) def. Brandi Cordell (L), 6-1, 6-0; No. 2 Katie White (C) def. Aurelia Ruffat (L), 7-6, 6-3; No. 3 Ivana Krommelova (C) def. Eliza Adusumilli (L), 6-1, 6-1; No. 4 Marie Cercelletti (C) def. Nicola James (L), 6-3, 6-2; No. 5 Cayce Bradley (L) def. Martina Dedaj (C), 6-7, 6-4, 10-8; and No. 6 Charlotte Fabricius (C) def. Chelsey Corgan (L), 6-1, 6-3.
