AIKEN – The Lander volleyball team dropped its third straight game Wednesday night when it lost to USC Aiken, 3-0, in a Peach Belt Conference game in the Convocation Center. Game scores were: 25-16, 25-9, 25-11.

USCA improves to 8-10 overall and 3-2 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 7-9, 1-4.

Hannah Dederick had five kills, while Magi Nottingham, Mallory Wasik and Jordan Rix had four each. Jessica Register recorded 18 assists and Madison Kubal led the team in digs with 13.

For USCA, Shannon Byers totaled 10 kills and six digs, Ashley Farwell 17 assists and nine digs, Sheila Walsh 16 assists, and Samantha Lukralle 14 digs.
