ST. AUGUSTINE - The Lander women's soccer team recorded its seventh shutout in 10 games this season when it defeated Flager College, 1-0, in a Peach Belt Conference contest Saturday afternoon.

Lander improves to 8-1-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the PBC, while Flagler drops to 6-4, 2-2.

Jamie Shaw fired in the lone goal of the game at 35:44 to pace the Lady Bearcats to the victory.

Lander outshot Flagler, 15-14, and both teams recorded six corner kicks.

Lady Bearcat goalkeeper Chelsea Beetch recorded four saves, while Flagler's Cristina Coca had three.
