AIKEN - The Lander volleyball team improved to 5-2 Saturday afternoon when the Bearcats defeated Limestone, 25-13, 25-18, 25-15, in a non-conference game at the USC Aiken Invitational in the Convocation Center.

Magi Nottingham registered six kills and seven digs, while Lindsey Everhart and Mallory Wasik also had six kills. Candace LaRocca totaled 17 assists and five digs, Melissa McCracken five kills and five digs, and Madison Kubal nine digs. Wasik also had a team-high three service aces.

Lander will travel to USC Aiken on Wednesday to face the Pacers in their Peach Belt Conference opener.
