PEMBROKE, N.C. - The No. 38-ranked Lander women's tennis team recorded its fourth shutout of the season Sunday afternoon when the Lady Bearcats defeated UNC Pembroke, 9-0, in a Peach Belt Conference contest.
Lander improves to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the PBC, while UNCP drops to 1-2, 0-2.

Beverly Vause (P), 6-0, 6-1.
