GREENWOOD - The No. 38-ranked Lander women's tennis team recorded its third shutout of the season Wednesday afternoon when the Lady Bearcats defeated Limestone College, 9-0, in a non-conference match at The Joe Cabri Courts.

Lander improves to 4-0 on the season.

In singles, No. 1 Brandi Cordell (LU) def. Jimen Munoz-Quiroga, 6-2, 6-4; No. 2 Aurelia Ruffat (LU) def. Eve Aubry, 6-4, 6-4; No. 3 Eliza Adusumilli (LU) def. Lauren Bolender, 6-0, 6-0; No. 4. Caitlin Fell (LU) def. Courtney Guerrieri, 6-0, 6-0; No. 5 Nicola James (LU) def. Krystal Barker, 6-0, 6-0; and No. 6 Lander won by default.

In doubles, No. 1 Cordell/Ruffat (LU) def. Aubry/Munoz, 8-1; No. 2 Adusumilli/James (LU) def. Guerrieri/Bolender, 8-0; and No. 3 Lander won by default.
