GREENWOOD - Erskine College's Larz Chabra and Jamie Murray each posted double-doubles Tuesday night to lead the Flying Fleet volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-19, 25-14) non-conference victory over Lander in Horne Arena.

Erskine improves to 14-5 overall, while Lander moves to 8-10.

Candace LaRocca and Melissa McCracken posted double-doubles for Lander. LaRocca had 29 assists and 10 digs, while McCracken had 12 kills and 12 digs. Madison Kubal recorded 17 digs and Chelsey Corgan had 11. Kubal and Abbey Focht both had three service aces.

For Erskine, Chabra had 41 assists and 15 digs and Murray had 11 kills and 14 digs. Sandra Campbell and Lauren Stewart collected 13 and 10 kills respectively, while Brook Dodge had 13 digs. Campbell added eight blocks, while Alison Albers totaled five.

Lander will play two conference games this weekend when the Bearcats travel to UNC Pembroke on Friday and play Francis Marion on Saturday.
