FLORENCE - The Lander volleyball team won its third straight Peach Belt Conference match Saturday afternoon when it defeated Francis Marion, 3-0. The Bearcats won, 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

Lander improves to 11-4 overall and 4-2 in the PBC. FMU is 6-7, 1-3.

Kendall Eayrs and Melissa McCracken led Lander with 13 and 12 kills respectively, while Chelsey Corgan and Ashley Ferry had 20 and 11 digs respectively. Setter Candace LaRocca registered 39 assists and nine digs.

The Patriots were led by Ashley Crook (14 kills, seven digs), Hallie Legg (17 assists, nine digs), Jess O'Leary (16 assists), and Kelsie Deaton 19 digs.

Lander will travel to Southern Wesleyan University for a 7 p.m. non-conference game on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
