GREENWOOD, S.C. - The No. 10-ranked Clayton State University women's tennis team defeated No. 40 Lander, 9-0, Friday afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference match at the Joe Cabri Courts.

Clayton State improves to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 8-3, 3-3.

Eliza Adusumilli, 6-1, 6-3; No. 4 Veronika Jasenovcova (C) def. Caitlin Fell, 6-1, 6-1; No. 5 Selma Hidass (C) def. Nicola James, 6-1, 6-2; and No. 6 Evelin Csizi (C) def. Melanise Newbold, 6-2, 6-0.
